Best outdoor rat traps
We are sharing some of the best outdoor traps that you can use to keep the rat away from your property.
Live catch rat trap
Use can use this trap for both inside and outside the rat trap. The use of a live trap is kind of tricky you have to bait the trap with some rat favorite’s food like they like to eat food that has a sweet taste.
How to use this trap?
Simply place the food inside the trap. This trap has a door when the mouse will enter into the trap to eat the food the door will be closed, and the rat will be unable to get out of the trap. This trap did not kill the rats, so it is a totally humane way to trap the rat. But one issue with the trap is rat has to enter the trap; otherwise, it will not work. Anyhow 90% of the rats after watching the bait enters into the trap without having any second thought and can be trapped easily.
Rat zapper
Although it is a kind of old way to trap the rat, it is still very successful. Just place the trap outside where the rats have a nest, or you can even place this trap near to the entry points. Use bait on the trap to make it attractive, and you can also use the leaf to hide the trap as the rats some times did not get closer to the things that are new to them. Anyhow, their favorite bait can make their moth watery and will attract them to come closer to the bait.
On advantage of this trap is it kills the rat on an instant basis. And the body of the rat will be stuck in the trap that is easy to remove and dispose of before the decomposing process.
Glue traps
Another effective trap is the use of a glue trap. In this trap, you need to get a wood or any board, and use the glue in the form of a circle, place the bait in the center and place the trap outside the home. Once they enter into the board to eat food, they will stick to the glue.
Glue traps are found to be effective and most successful at the places where other live traps and snake traps did not work.
The advantage of this trap is you can even use this trap on a wall when they are running on the wall; it will capture them completely, and they will not be able to move. Anyhow, once they stuck into the glue trap, we recommend you release them and move them to another place because they may spend several hours in this trap before to die, and that is very inhumane.
